EKTT Weekly Treasury Challenge: St. Patty's & Spring

The winner of our latest weekly treasury challenge, Bison Girl on Etsy, wants to celebrate St. Patty's Day and SPRING!  Keep in mind that St. Patrick's Day is Thursday, March 17th, and Spring treasuries will be in use all month long on Etsy's home page.  Mix it up, EKTT, why not make a treasury fitting both themes?    

Saint Patrick's Day PAR-TAY!

Focus Items:  parties, celebrations, March 17, parades, touches of green, shamrocks, feasting, kitchen decor and accessories, hostess gifts, beer drinking,  and a nod to the Irish!

OR

Spring Fling!

Focus Items:  SPRING BREAK week, spring equinox, spring cleaning, spring fashion, spring planting, rejuvenation, fresh outlook, and light, bright color.  March birthstone:  Aquamarine.  Colors:  bright pops of color in pinks, turquoise, yellows, avocado, peach, orange.  Earth tones and neutrals coupled with rusts, deep greens, brown.

1.  Submit as many treasuries fitting these themes in as many variations as you wish through FRIDAY, March 18, 5:00 p.m. CST.  (The winning treasury will be blogged on Saturday this week, followed by a Sunday blog of the Weekly Treasury Challenge as we are preparing for the 2nd installment of the EtsyKids Photo Makeover Series to be posted on Monday, March 21.)  

2.  Required Challenge Tags:

(Copy and paste the challenge tags to ensure your treasury will be included in judging!)   Please also use applicable key words to tag--listed under Focus Items (above) and taken from Etsy's March Merchandising Report.  

3.  Treasuries must include 4 active and verified EtsyKids Team members. Please take this opportunity to feature either your partner or our March Featured EKTT Member, felted kitten on Etsy, or both in a challenge submission.  

Please see the updated EKTT Check List with new rules in effect March 1 to curate according to guidelines.  Only one feature of your partner is required this month.   New guidelines for 2 of your treasuries:  Feature any 2 EKTT Curators (see blog sidebar for active curator links) plus any 2 (non-EKTT) EtsyKids Team members. 

4.  The winning treasury will be chosen from Random.org.  This week I will number your treasuries from 1 (first submission) to the number of the last treasury submitted.  Random.org will select a treasury from those submitted, and the winner will be announced as usual.

5.  EKTT rules and guidelines (including where to post completed treasuries) along with illustrations to help you curate to March 1st guidelines can be found in the EKTT Check List, Curators!

6.  All EKTT Curators are eligible to enter and win, including current and past weekly challenge winners.

7.  Please do not include any treasury team tags other than the EtsyKids Treasury Team tag and related challenge tags on EKTT challenge treasuries.  Any challenge submission containing treasury team tags other than "etsykids tteam" will automatically be disqualified from winning.  Thank you, EKTT Curators!

Prizes!

Your winning treasury, links to your Etsy shop, and a shop listing you choose will be featured in an EKTT blog post announcing you as our Weekly Treasury Challenge winner.  Your Etsy shop and winning blog entry will be permanently displayed on the EKTT Winners page.  Your Etsy shop will be featured in a Crafcult Slideshow Mini on the top of our blog sidebar.  You will have the honor of choosing the next Weekly Treasury Challenge theme based on a focused idea from our current Etsy Merchandising Report.
